HOURTOBILL
Terms

The deal, in plain words.

Last updated 29 August 2026.

The service

HourToBill records the time you log and produces invoice documents from it. It is a record-keeping tool, not an accountant and not a tax adviser. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you invoice and for meeting the invoicing and tax rules that apply where you operate.

Your account

One account is for one person. Keep access to your email secure, because whoever can read it can sign in. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has.

Payment

The trial runs 14 days with no card. After that the subscription is $12 a month or the annual equivalent, charged in advance and renewing until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal and keeps your access until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not refund part-used periods, but if something went wrong, write to us and we will sort it out.

Your data

It is yours. We claim no ownership of your clients, hours or invoices, and you can download your invoice PDFs and export everything as CSV at any time, including after cancelling.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep the service running and to keep your data intact, but we cannot promise uninterrupted availability. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Keep your own copies of invoices you have issued.

Ending it

You may close your account whenever you like. We may close an account that is being used unlawfully or in a way that damages the service, and where we do, we will give you an opportunity to export your data first unless the law prevents it.
