Two screens. That is the whole surface.

Everything HourToBill does happens on the screen you track on and the screen you bill on. There is no third place where the real settings live.

01

The timer

Choose a client, type one line, start. The rate comes off the client record, so the money counts itself while you work. One timer runs at a time, because you are one person.

  • Client rail with rate and terms on every row
  • Live clock, stop or discard
  • Manual entries typed as 1:30, 90m or 1.5
  • Unbilled total for the month, always on screen
  • Edit or delete any entry that is not yet on an invoice

Go on, press stop. It is the real thing.

02

The invoice

Pick a client and a date range. Every unbilled billable hour inside it becomes a line, grouped by day and priced at the rate on the entry. Download the PDF and send it.

  • Sequential numbering with your own prefix
  • Your details and theirs, copied in at creation
  • Tax rate and payment terms from the client record
  • Lines locked once you mark it sent
  • Void releases the hours back to unbilled
  • CSV export of every line

What is not built yet.

Importing from Toggl or Harvest. Recurring invoices for retainers. Expenses and mileage. Taking card payment on your behalf. None of these exist today. If one of them is the reason you would buy, do not buy yet, and tell us which one.

Your hours are already worked. Go and bill them.
